Carr Tree & Timber is an ISA Certified Arborist-owned tree and woodland care company, located in Southern Vermont near Brattleboro, Mt. Snow, and Stratton. Our area is known for excellent outdoor recreation, hunting, fishing, and winter sports.

Celebrating 10 years in business, we are a progressive, drug and smoke-free family company practicing modern arboriculture with an emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Our work is a mix of preservation, fine pruning (from shrubs and fruit trees to large mature trees), technical removal projects large & small, PHC, woodland/property care services, Utility Line Clearance, and municipal ROW work. We accomplish this work by working smarter not harder and utilizing climbing, spider lift, bucket trucks, cranes, and more.

Basic Requirements include:

Compliance with all applicable ANSI, OSHA, FMCSA regulations

Valid drivers license with clean MVR

CDL is not required but is always a plus

Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen/physical and background check

Must be age 21+ (due to insurance/DOT matters)

Must be able to reliably commute to Jamaica VT 05343, hours may vary

Must be a team player with the ability to communicate professionally with all team members, to prioritize safety and to accept and give constructive criticism, and possess a desire for learning and advancement in the tree care industry and company.

We use professional crane services with a full range of crane sizes, all with licensed operators. This enables us to always have the right size crane to access each job and work well within the load chart of the crane. We frequently work with cranes 38-ton capacity to 80-ton capacity, and occasionally up to 180-ton capacity or larger.
